Fusào VC is proud to announce the following college commitments:

Lacey Adler, 5'9" Outside Hitter for Fusao 18 Azul from Waunakee, Wisconsin will continue her playing career at UW-Oshkosh. UW-Oshkosh finished second in the nation in Division 3 volleyball during the 2009 season.

Erienne Lauersdorf, 5'10" Outside Hitter for Fusao 18 Azul from Watertown, Wisconsin has verbally committed to DII powerhouse Concordia University, located in St. Paul Minnesota. Concordia's Head Coach Brady Starky has compiled a 240-20 win loss record over the past 7 years. Concordia is the Defending DII 2009 National Champion, having also won it in 2007 and 2008.

Emily McCourt, 5'10" Setter for 18 Azul from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin will continue her playing career at Augsburg College. Divisoin 3 Augsburg College is in Minneapolis, MN. They finished fourth in the MIAC regular season standings and lost in the quarterfinals of the 2009 MIAC tournament.

Laura McGinnis, 5' 11" Middle Blocker Middle Blocker for Fusao 18 Azul and Middleton, Wisconsin has committed to the University of Wisconsin - Madison. McGinnis will continue to impress people with her jump as she joins the 24 time Big Ten Conference Championship track team.

Jerica Nelson, 6' Setter/Middle Blocker for Fusao 18 Azul from Fennimore, Wisconsin has verbally committed to Viterbo University located in LaCrosse, WI. Viterbo's Head Coach Ryan Delong and the V-Hawks have compiled an overall record of 101-66 over the past 4 years, and have had 39 Academic All-Conference players, 10 First Team all-conference players including the 2006, 2007, and 2008 MCC Libero of the Year.

Jenna Ptaschinski, 6' Outside Hitter for Fusao 18 Azul from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin (Wayland Academy) has committed to DI Davidson College, located in Davidson, North Carolina. The Wildcats are looking to improve on their 2009 finish in the Southern Conference.

Crystal Ziegler, 5'10 " Outside Hitter for Fusao 18 Azul from Waunakee, Wisconsin will continue her playing career at UW-La Crosse. UW-La Crosse coach Sheila Perkins has a .706 winning percentage in 15 seasons at UW-La Crosse, the Eagles are looking to return to the top of the WIAC where they previously spent quite a few years.

Fusào Volleyball Club | Clube do voleibol da fusão

Fusào (pronounced Fooz-own) Volleyball Club is a fresh concept club. It is dedicated to fusing the intensity and excitement of Brazilian style volleyball with the technique and finesse of the American style. Training will include specialty sessions, team practices and full club practices. Fusào will work directly with each athlete to determine their personal goals and appropriate level of future play. The staff of Fusào will emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, leadership and being true to oneself. Fusào teams will play in the Badger Region Power League, local tournaments and JVDA tournaments in the Midwest. All possible efforts will be made to keep expenses low. Fusào dues will be all inclusive, one amount will cover, tournaments, coaching, practices and uniforms. Players will be responsible for their own travel expenses.
